Woke up late this morning. I did get to sleep last night but woke once around 3. Strange thing is this is the second Sat the alarm didn't go off. I don't recall it going off and me turning it off. That hasn't happened any time during the week.
I was going to clean house a little this morning. No time for it now. Glad I did dishes and laundry last night.
Ran some acid and phosphorous through the irrigation line last night. Backing off on the nitrogen. Think I finally got to the point where I'm applying too much and no more is needed. That causes more foliage and less or smaller fruit because of the balance. Pretty much all the tests I've done showed there is more than enough potassium, which is pretty much permanent.
I think I am going to buy a few tomato plants today from the nursery. Some specialty ones that are supposed to grow really huge tomatoes. Mostly looking for Park's Whopper Improved tomatoes. It is a hybrid, so seeds are sterile or won't grow true to seed. So if I want to propagate or avoid having to buy them year after year, have to try and grow some from cuttings and keep them alive through the winter.
Decision I made with the dogs seems to be a good one so far. The boys do miss the female and have whined a little about that. However, they are getting along great. No fights, only playing. Last night I tossed out some chicken bones to them. They shared with no confrontation, happy but calm. With the female, within seconds of tossing something like that out, there was growling and snapping, occasionally biting.
I am finally seeing the effect of bringing the mortgage current. This was the first check I am truly seeing the effect. I was able to pay for hotels for vacation, order a new camera and a new printer, pay all the bills and still have money left over. At this pint, my biggest bills are satellite TV, student loan and internet. That's why I need to dispose of the student loan debt. I'm considering doing away with satellite. Most of the shows I watch are on network TV. Others I can watch online. Way too expensive for what is offered.
