Got the bleed-off installed in the swamp cooler. Big difference! The air blowing out of it immediately got colder. Plus I learned the force of the air had blown the cap off where the winter barrier inserts. That's the first time that has happened. Shows the force of air is stronger than it was before. Put the cap back in place and inserted a couple of screws to keep it in place. So, pressure had been leaking and is now blowing into the house.
Biggest reason it's making a big difference is because the water comes out of the ground at around 50 degrees F. It is a bit warmer than that by the time it reaches the swamp cooler but still very cool.
The down side is that I don;t have an immediate place for the water draining off to go. Need to attach and extension, micro sprinkler and a clamp to make sure back pressure doesn't force the hose off the connection. The sprinkler is meant to wash away the smell of the dogs where they can no longer go to do their business. Since it's so dry, even though there's no visible waste, there is still a strong odor. That will not go away as long as it remains dry.
