Looks like my anxiety was unjustified. My pay was in the bank when I woke up a little while ago. However, I was just going with what I was told by the company. Having been through three employers going bust in the past, it is something which makes me slightly anxious, so red flags go up with certain signs. In each case, no warning was given. Employees just went to collect their pay and there was no pay to collect.
So, have to pay bills and then start making reservations for vacation. Luckily, not every penny has to come from one check. I have one more check before then but mortgage and child support do come out of that one. Then I get a check about the third day of vacation.
What I can do is order the camera for the kiddo today.
