Reality steps in

Too much of a certain supplement last night caused broken sleep. Still feeling the effects slightly but it should stop soon. Least I was able to get back to sleep.

I was also having nightmares all night.. about rude callers.

I run a loose budget before paying bills and then a secondary budget as the payments go through, which also happens as shopping amounts from the weekend post. Right now, after all payments post, looks like a little over $300 left when I also account for hotel costs for vacation. However, that $300 includes living expenses until payday. Hoping the IT problems calm down this week so I can up my earnings for next check.

Reality stepped in on my daughter this weekend and I felt bad for her. While we were shopping at Goodwill, she set her wallet down and forgot it. Remembered a few minutes later. We looked for a long time but it was gone. Someone stole an 11 year old girl's wallet. Pathetic. She said she wasn't so upset about the money or the wallet but the cards inside which held sentimental value. Some could not be replaced. Just play cards but she has had them for years. I could replace at least part of the money but not the cards. It was a lesson for her to start carrying a purse.

She shows stronger and stronger sentiment all the time. I know it has been there but it keeps building. Unfortunately, loss is going to have to be a balancing force for her.
