So, decided to pull another early shift tomorrow morning. I had been doing really well at working extra cases without doing extra hours. Not this week. Been freaking Zombieland this week. Completely mindless callers. Told my supervisor that callers were saying "umm" so often I was tempted to ask many if they were meditating on the phone. (Actually more likely medicating..)
Today I worked 9 hours and had 88 cases. That's fewer than I was getting in 8 hours just last week. The whole week has been that way. Several days I have been happy just to make my base 70 cases. Means the check after this one will suffer. Luckily, it's not anything crucial at this time but I was still hoping to move a little further ahead and get some additional goals accomplished.
I think I'm going to have to place the insulation ahead of new teeth. For one, it's less expensive. For another, there is a return on that in the form of lower utility bills, so will actually help pay for the teeth in the long run. New teeth are a pure expense with no monetary return in current circumstances. (It would make a difference if I were on the job market now or in the near future.)
