Almost

I'm almost at that 90 case average I had set as a goal. My average is about 88 cases per day now. (Once I hit 90, I'll shoot for 97. Why in a moment.)

For every 9 cases, I earn the equivalent of an extra hour of pay. So, 88 cases equal 2 extra hours of pay beyond my base pay and 97 cases per day would equal an extra 3 hours of pay.

As it is, 88 case average means I earn an extra 10 hours of pay without putting in extra hours every week. That adds up to a potential of an extra $10k per year at this rate. and would be higher if I can increase my rate. I am rather questioning whether that's really possible because of the speed of the callers. However, with the new health plan I got trained on, it does increase my case count. Then yesterday I learned something I was not aware of which significantly increased my speed on those cases even more. A lot more. So, the potential is there. I just have to be able to avoid the really slow callers. I have learned to redirect their behavior a lot.

At my current speed, my income is back over $50k a year. If I can increase my speed or case count (including with extra hours) I can realistically bring that back to $60k a year, where I was several years ago. Of course, that's before taxes. Getting to $60k is a worthy goal. Keep my expenses down as much as I can and I can have every single debt I owe paid off in 10 years or less and still have money in savings if I plan properly.

Yes, that includes the house. However, I am not going to pay extra on the house. Instead, I will put money in savings. If I gather enough money, then in a few years I will simply write a check for the remaining balance of the mortgage. Wells Fargo has clearly demonstrated that it does not matter if you pay ahead. If you wind up with problems, they will still try to take you under.
