The alarm was set for 6:30 this morning. Yeah, that didn't happen. Been having trouble sleeping because of shoulder pain. It's worse when trying to sleep. Need to do some exercises for it. May be worse because I've stopped using the space heater when I sleep. Too warm for it when I go to sleep but then it gets cooler during the night and the cold makes the pain flare up. Stretches help but I need to do resistance exercise for it.
Letting the temperature rise a few more degrees, then go change the oil in the car. Think that should take about 20 minutes. Then need to mop the house real quick. Didn't get much done last night. Too tired after 9 1/2 hour shift and it was too dark to see what I was doing on the car.
Told daughter we would go to the flea market last weekend but then had truck problems. Maybe we can do that today. After getting the emission test and registration done.
Ran through nearly all the tax refund. Good news is that it has shown some benefits doing so. Got the car, can afford registration and brought the mortgage closer to current. The bank had pile up late charges on the account, so those have to be dealt with. Those are almost paid out, so more of the payments now go toward the actual payment.
Once I'm current, I'll try to pull ahead slightly but learned the fallacy of that before. Instead, stash more into savings in case anything happens that throws me behind again.
Wish I could just get things to remain stable.
Good thing for work- They finally added new servers to the system! However. The new servers are located in NJ. The old servers are located in NC. I think nobody bothered to look at a storm map before making this decision. One big hurricane or massive snow storm could take the entire corporation offline at once. Big storm season is ending for now but the potential returns starting in the fall. I plan to have money in savings before then, just in case the company gets taken down for a week or two.
Oh, good news about the car. Turns out this car is already a classic and worth a lot more than I paid for it! Car collectors buy these cars and sometimes restore them or modify them. Bad part of that is that parts for this model can be hard to find. Good part is most of the parts are interchangeable with the MX-6. This model is so uncommon that the Pick-N-Pull here doesn't list it on their standard inventory.
