Didn't get the car finished. Couple of bolts are behind a cross member and couldn't reach the with the tools I had. So, had to go get a different tool. By the time I got back, it was nearly dark. So the car is up on a jack with a pan under it.
If this tool won't do it, I'll have to drop the cross member. Which I would have already done but Rather apprehensive about it. Not sure how much this cross member is holding up the transmission. One of the down sides to having a fairly rare car. There was never a valid aftermarket repair manual produced for it. If I have to drop that cross member, I'll place another jack under the transmission as best I can.
I did give myself a gluten challenge today. Decided if I'm going to do it, it was going to be something I really miss eating. So I went to get a Whopper from Burger King for lunch. So far, no major symptoms. I have had a little twinge but that could be many things, including the mayonnaise. Think I'll give it another try with something else, like a doughnut. No matter what, that was the best hamburger I have ever had in my life!
