Not impressed

Took my iterator tests for work. Failed all three of them.

Have to say I am not impressed. Not to be arrogant but this has no indication of being valid testing or education. I have an IQ of 137. Completed every single adult education program I have finished in the top 3 of any class I ever took. Been known to read books on sociology, macroeconomics, chemistry, history and physics for relaxation. To fail three open book tests does not make any sense.

If employees are failing these tests because they cannot find the right information, this is not an indication that the employees are failing. This is an indication of really bad organization of information.

I've been told you have to know where to find things on the company website. Really? It's on the shoulders of 1600 employees to memorize a website which changes, rather than on 1 or 2 people to organize that site in a logical manner? With a risk of tests being approved or disapproved in error, increased turnover and possible financial penalties on the line, who the hell is coming up with these ideas?! Not to mention testing employees on information and writing them up or just causing them excessive stress with no real apparent goal except to make them fail? This is in severe question.

I have come to the conclusion that if I leave this company, it is most likely to be over these tests. And I know I would not be the first.
