No luck

Can't get the well pump going. Pump is okay and pressurizing if I feed water from the hose into it. Seems like maybe the foot valve is clogged or stuck open. Going to have to see what I can do about it.

If the pipe is sitting in too much sediment it means I'll have to get a shorter length of pipe.

Work was better for manners today but worse for lucidity. Even more long calls than yesterday. Then they came up with a rule that nobody could work web case until all the urgent fax cases were completed. I tried but as fast as they cleared, new ones were added. Here is how fax cases work much of the time: A doctor' office calls in. The clinical information does not provide information which allows approval. So the doctor's office faxes in 20 pages of documentation, 18 pages useless and 2 pages with the exact same information which they gave on the telephone. If you can read the doctor's writing. However, they insist the case is urgent (because the test is scheduled for tomorrow for a chronic problem the member has had for years). So, every single page has to be reviewed.

So, I only had 63 cases today. I am not happy. I did have to open several other cases, so they should also add to my case count. Still, this is not cool. If they make that rule again, I am going to respond with stating I will not work fax cases unless I am being paid hourly during that time. Not an unreasonable request. The night shift works nearly all fax cases, gets paid hourly and has a much lower case count.

Picked up the filter and fluid for the transmission. Install it tomorrow. Too windy this evening and the temperature dropped. Getting under the car will give me the chance to confirm the CV axle situation and check everything else over.
