My first day on the earlier shift and I hit my goal of 90 cases! I logged 89 but know I missed logging at least 1 more. (Long reason why that happens. Basically, I have to open some cases I don't actually work the review in. However, the system captures every case I open. And opening cases for no reason is a good way to get fired. You have to have a reason, which I always do.)
It was an odd day. Slightly slow for a Monday at times. The software from workforce management had me scheduled for written all day, except when directed to phones by supervisor. Turned out to be a benefit because I can work web cases faster than telephone cases.
However, if I can maintain this case count, it will mean an extra $400 per check ($800 a month), roughly. Most of that depends more on the callers than on myself.
I joked with my supervisor today that I felt like most of my callers were calling from a transcendental meditation group. "What is the indication for this study?" They reply "Ummmm" (Gets old after the 30-40th time in one day.)
Took a short break. Now I need to get some things done.
