Legal

Got the oil changed in the car this morning. Tried to get the emissions done before picking daughter up. It failed but only because of the fuel cap.

Daughter and I went to Home Depot. They have a kids project every first Sat of the month. Today was a Trojan Horse piggy bank. Not much good for a bank because you would have to take the horse apart to take money out. Still a cute project.

Got the gas cap, passed emissions. Even more happy for the price I paid for this car! Got the car registered and it's all legal now. That's a good feeling, with the problems I've had with the truck.

We had a 2 person party with balloons, bubbles, soda and Katy Perry videos.

No flea market today. It rained and I spent too much getting the car legal.

Past two holiday seasons, I bought fake snow for kiddo. Had some left from previous year and all left from this year. Going to mix it in with potting soil to help the plants remain hydrated. It's the same substance as larger water absorbing globes, in smaller form. Makes it better that in this case the fake snow acts as decoration and/or entertainment for the holidays, then has benefit for the garden or potted plants later. Wish I had thought of using  it earlier. It should do really well combined with seed starting mix. Should keep the moisture more evenly distributed. Though I haven't had any problem getting seeds started this year.
