I got the walls all closed up today. Sheetrock is all done except for one spot in the hallway. That's a small spot.
Most of the plaster is done. Have to do some touch up tomorrow because some places had to have some pretty thick plaster. I know that will crack. Plus a few spots kind of sink in a bit, so need another layer once the first layer sets.
Got slowed down by a couple of mistakes I made. Like cutting through and electrical cable with the angle grinder, making me have to rewire an outlet. Bummer. Just glad I had all the supplies needed.
Someone adopted the dog today. They seem like they will give him a very good, loving home. The girl was the main one who wanted him and she is a pre-med student. I miss him already but it can't be helped.
So, tomorrow I can start painting in the rooms that do not need touch-up plaster.
Already moved the bed and plastic sock drawer into the living room. This is where I will be sleeping for a while. I may move the bed into another room to make the first impression better when someone walks in.
Going to give it a real solid push to try and get the whole house and yard finished by Sunday evening.
