I hate selling things on CL.
So, started getting responses about the bikes. One for the dog. The one for the dog came at 11:30 at night. I responded this morning.
Got three for the bikes. One guy wanted to offer $20 for the men's bike when the asking price is $40. I just responded "goodbye". One said he needs a ride, then wanted to come over before 7:30 this morning. I said no and he changed it to 11-12. I said okay but this is first come first serve. Now someone else is supposed to be here soon.
Selling stuff online attracts people who act entitled. Wanting you to reserve things for them, wanting to talk you down on price when I never ask an unreasonable price for anything. Price for the bikes is good because they're in almost new condition. New bike would cost more than twice what I ask. Even a thrift store would charge more. Not a question.
Many of these people are buying things to sell. Others are just morons. They ask for the address when there is the address and a map on the post. They ask for pictures of what I am selling when there are pictures on the post. Still others want to play email/text/phone tag for hours. Before I do that I will donate the bikes to charity.
Before I can do the wiring, I have to go to Home Depot. Now that is on hold until someone shows up about the bikes.
Reason I have to go to HD is because I ran out of outlets and outlet boxes. Used them up on the rest of the house. Can't wire the room without the right supplies. I had thought I had enough but once the workshop was organized found out that was not correct.
So, while writing this someone came and bought both bikes. Now I can get going to HD.
