On the final stages of painting. Get the baseboards and last few doors and frames done today. Then all that's left of formal painting is done. Technically, refinishing the counters, sink and tub are painting but very different from regular painting.
After this, the only painting left will be touch-up spots where I messed up. Just being OCD.
Once done with this I can start on tile and doing the above refinishing. If possible, start on tile today.
Woke up late because I woke several times during the night. Last time had a hard time getting back to sleep. Feel okay though. Even my knee is fine, though I haven't tried crawling on the floor yet, like I will be doing in a little while.
It really does look like Tue is a good estimate for being done with everything. If not, not going to stress over it. It will not be long after that. I know I will be here on the 1st, so I will have to pay the mortgage.
If here for a while, I can pick up more shifts at work. I've turned a few down to work on the house. That would balance finances better. At that point it would cause no problems with my health because I won't be doing heavy work on the house any more in addition to the job. Stress my play a part but I am less stressed working PRN shifts, knowing I will be leaving at some not too distant time. I know the place is not going to change. I hate adopting the mentality of "Sorry, nothing I can do" but sometimes it's necessary for my own survival.
Sometime I need to go to the auto salvage for a rear window, which I never replaced since Nov. And need new front tires, which I'll buy used. Not trusting of current tires making the trip to AL. Rear tires look okay. And I have a doughnut spare for emergencies. (Once the car is loaded, changing a tire will really suck if it happens.)
