I don't know why but this week felt exceptionally long. Today went on forever. Wasn't just me, my supervisor said the same thing.
No complaints. If I recall correctly, I earned somewhere around an extra $150 this week. That will help pay for insulation.
Got an email this morning telling me I had written cases in the queue for the program I had declined certification for on Monday. I emailed back about it and then got an IM. With some back and forth discussion, the supervisor for that program approved it for me to work just telephone cases for the program. For the moment, there is an extreme shortage of nurses that can/will do the telephone cases for the program, so she was relieved. She also seemed to understand my position for the written and outgoing calls.
Have to go pick up the leaf blower, then come back and do the drapery rods in kiddo's room. Plus get some cleaning done. At least woodwork is more my forte than sewing is! I should have that stuff done in half hour or less.
Just taking a short break between work and.. work.
My first request for a day off to do the insulation was refused. Now waiting to see about the second request. Changed the request from a Friday to a Monday. Maybe Monday is better. Gives me the whole week to clean up the dust and patch holes.
The better my finances look, the more insulation I can plan on installing. However, I'm going to wait until the day I make the purchases, figure out the grand total on other things before deciding exactly how much I'll get. Current calculations are that I can spend around $450 on supplies and that will leave money to roll over to the next check. Which has higher total expenses, so keeping a balance is a wise choice. Besides, still trying to retain money for dental work, daughter's birthday, etc. Trying to think as far ahead as I can.
