Still debating with myself over the building supplies. Don't want to spend too much money. As it is, if I buy the supplies I was thinking of, the money I roll over to my next check remains static or decreases.
None of that makes me need to supplies any less. Just sucks that I have to buy it all at once.
The concrete is no longer on special. However, I did figure out that it's actually cheaper to buy the 60 lb bags than the 80 lb bags. When calculated per lb, the 60 lb bags cost less. At least, for now. Price of concrete went up over the past year. Probably shipping and manufacturing costs increased. This is also the time of year concrete sales tend to start slowing down, so prices go up slightly.
Too bad I can't afford a concrete mixer. A small one. Then again, I will get some needed exercise, so no complaints. Yet. Until I'm sore from doing it. lol!
There's also no getting around the need for the supplies for the solarium and a few items for the house.
Still, maybe I'd be best to hold off one more week and buy the supplies next Fri, when I get paid again. I doubt anything major is going to change in that time. That's what I'll do. I know the next check has less money coming out for bills and the initial dentist appointment is only a consultation. Cool my heels, keep budgeting and compile the money I need for various things over time. Eliminate the need to make choices.
