Drapes

I meant to get the drapes made for daughter's room tonight. However, got diverted by other efforts. Need a couple of small groceries. Plus a folding table suitable for sewing.

I also finally found a black comforter in king size. Not quite the weight I like but I like but I tend to prefer really heavy comforters. That's okay, I cam always layer. Definitely have a few blankets in the house.

Besides, my cold tolerance is up and heat tolerance is down still.

Then had to cook dinner. Guess I'll do the dishes and toss in a load of laundry so that stuff is already done and doesn't cause another diversion. Since I had to cook, I just decided to grill all 8 chicken breasts I had. Can freeze most of them and that will reduce future cooking time.

Today was a little slower for work. Little over 70 cases. Long as I make my 70, I'm content. Just much happier if I get more.

Put in a request for next Fri off to do the blown in insulation. I have to get it done in one day. Can manage it if I get started early enough in the day and don't slack off. Just going to focus on the living room and kitchen for now. I'll do my bedroom and the rest at a later date. Each step is a big improvement. I probably just notice it less but my bedroom doesn't seem to be much of a problem in winter. More a problem in summer. I probably just notice it less because I'm covered up and prefer keeping the bedroom cool, any way. (Not freezing cold, of course.) With adequate insulation, it will pay for itself over one winter in reduced heating costs.

If the solarium actually stays intact for once, that will further offset the heating bill and I may not have to run the heater through most of the day at all and run it much less at night.

Had to tie off the tomato vines some more. Finally a decent amount of tomatoes and a few are ripening. The later plants are gaining some size and I put cages on them. Some aren't large enough for the cages yet but if I move them into the solarium in a few weeks, they should produce this year, if only a little. They slow down a lot in colder temperatures but keep producing until they encounter frost. Then they go dormant but don't die off unless the roots freeze.
