Back from the dentist. Looks like I'll have to go toothless for a while because of the cost.
The community health center actually charges more for extractions than the denture specialist across town. The minimum cost I'm projecting for dentures with extractions is around $1700. That's not counting the $191 today for an exam and xrays.
Still going to get an appointment for a couple weeks from now, at least for the extractions, which is half the cost noted. See if maybe they have a more affordable set of temporary dentures.
Okay, just called the denture place. Of course, they require an appointment for consultation before making an appointment for extractions. And of course they aren't open on weekends. Not in NM. New Mexico True.
I'm going to burn off all of my damn PTO just getting through damn exams and have no time left to get my freakin' teeth pulled!!
