Corrales

Daughter and I went to the Corrales Harvest Festival today. Another tradition we started a few years back. The parts we enjoy most are the produce market and the corn maze. Last year the corn was so short we could see different paths than the one we were on. This year the corn was still partly green and much taller.

Had a problem with the car this evening. It stopped running and had to be pushed to the side. I swear people here acre complete idiots. Cars pulled up behind me on a multi-lane street, my hazard lights on and they just sat there, waiting for me to move. They continued this even when I raised the hood. I finally got it running and got it home. I think it needs a new fuel filter. Put some octane booster in the tank and ran it for a while. Octane booster is nearly the same as injector cleaner and I had it on hand. Hoping letting it sit after that ran through the lines will dissolve some varnish. Then get a new filter this week. Maybe tomorrow. Give it a test run early in the day.

Picked the last green bean harvest this evening. This batch for the neighborhood meeting tomorrow evening. Going to pull the vines up tomorrow.

Also picked the first real batch of tomatoes today. Not going to be many more batches unless more tomatoes start growing now, which doesn't seem too likely, with temperatures dropping. But I can hope. They kept going until Nov last year.
