Hangers done!

The wood panels and drapery hangers are up, drapes are on them and they look good! Currently one drape on each rod for the moment and slightly short for one window. Once I make another (longer, of course) set of drapes, then they'll be hung a full set to each rod.

The wood panels over the windows make things look nicer and add considerable stability to the hangers, as planned.

Didn't get much cleaning done except dishes. Get more cleaning done in the morning.

I did go pick up the leaf blower/vac. Realized something. This thing grinds leaves into small bits. If I get a plastic barrel and make a compost tumbler the combination of tiny pieces of leaves and the enclosed composter will accelerate the composting process considerably. Like 6 weeks or less to a batch. My best bet would be to build two compost tumblers, so one can be finishing while I'm adding raw material to the other one in rotation. Then dismantle the current compost bin. Then see if I can compost weeds in the summer. For that, I'll have to check the temperature a few times. If it's over 160 degrees, that's hot enough to inactivate the seeds. It may reach those temperatures with a little added ammonia. The vac and grinder function could come in really handy for the annual agreement I have with a neighbor to rake up his leaves if I get to keep them. Lot fewer trips to dump leaves and they will reduce much faster. (Just have to keep weight in mind.)

I'm exhausted. It is a shame the temperatures don't cool down until the days get shorter. Getting to bed in a minute.
