Stupid plumbing!

Went to wash dishes and the kitchen plumbing was clogged once again! One of these days I'm going to replace the outdoor plumbing of this house with 18 inch pipes! (Anyone that doubts me much doesn't know me very well.) I got the pipe cleared with a lot of time and effort with the pipe snake and various attachments. Think I'll get a foaming chemical pipe cleaner this weekend. I was afraid it was roots again but that wasn't the case. Seems to be buildup in the pipe.

For a clarification on the solar heating, the reason I don't think a very large system will be needed is because the larger the solarium, the more it already captures solar heat. This is cumulative, which I have proven with successive versions of the solarium. The heat from one day does not fully dissipate when the solarium heats up the next day. Plus as the fan draws heated air downward, that heated air rises again and gets heated more. With previous, smaller versions of the solarium I logged temperatures over 100 degrees at the apex. This will be the first year I ever added a circulating fan or a large pipe to capture the heat. I think that will capture a lot more heat.

Down sides to this are that I'll have to apply lots of grass and weed killer because having it built will mean grass and weeds will grow inside if not prevented. Plus it may mean I have to take much stronger steps to control insects and rodents, which the heated structure may attract.

Pay goes in the bank tonight. This marks the most money I have rolled over from one check to another so far since starting this job. Actually, the most I have rolled over in at least 6 years, probably longer. The check after this I have very few bills due, so things are looking up. However, still not enough for both dentures and insulation this month, so going to come down to a choice.
