Well, I called and reserved two moving pods for 4/17/17. Means I have about 9 days to pack and get things ready for that.
Going to have to use daughter's mattress or something small. Maybe an inflatable mattress. I won't have room in the car for the king size bed. Even the mattress will have to go on the floor.
I think using her mattress will work. I had forgotten when it came it was tightly rolled up. I can roll it and strap it for the car. That's doable.
Using the pods will cost less money for the actual move by about $1000. Though I will have to pay for it to be stored in Montgomery until I have a place to stay. This will preclude picking things up from Kerrville. I'll just have to do that at a later date.
For Kerrville, once I have the money I plan on getting another motorbike. Then I can reserve a truck, ride down to Kerrville, pack things up including the bike in the truck and drive it to AL. Still expensive but I have to conserve as best I can for the moment. I have no idea when or where I will find a job. At least the Kerrville task can be done on a 3-4 day weekend from AL.
Laid the second primary coat of paint in the sunken living room. Still have to do the corners, edges and trim. Can get that accomplished tomorrow.
Found out another reason I'm so tired. Got on the scale and found I've dropped nearly 8 lbs. I suspected as much. I need to order some protein powder.
