Went to a couple of stores as planned. Got 7 bags of stucco (one for patching places other than the front), tubing for the swamp cooler, 10 gals of exterior paint and a few smaller things.
As a result of slinging the paint and stucco around, I'm in more pain than I was before.
So tomorrow is definitely a light activity day.
Just as well because my hands are torn to shreds with stucco embedded in my skin right now. The lime in the stucco is pretty damaging and painful. Nothing I haven't been through before. The first day I used vinegar to counteract it, which helped a bit. Used gloves later in the day but it was too late. Used Nitrile gloves yesterday and today but some liquid still got in them. The liquid carries the lime, so.. Better but not great.
So, I'll still have to mix and apply some stucco tomorrow but not all that much. Think I'll go with 1/4-1/2 a bag for patching. Get the patching done early, take down the solarium and then start painting in the same direction I patched. Sounds easy but I also have to tape all the windows.
Damn it I forgot to get paper for the windows. Have to get to Dollar Tree for that.
Getting to bed soon. Get up in the morning and get some of this stuff done. And hope I'm not in extreme pain.
