Woke up to find it raining this morning. The forecast didn't even call for rain yesterday morning. Now calling for rain on and off all day.
Oh, well. Not raining hard. It may slow me down a bit but won't stop me from loading. Just have to be really careful so I don't slip and bust my head or wind up with the sofa on top of me.
I am glad I built the ramp in the front of the house. That will make things a lot easier.
Shoulders still giving me hell but worse when sleeping and when I first wake up. Fades a bit after a while. At least this time I know it will go away with time.
I am glad it is raining today instead of last week. I could not have done the stucco at all if it had been raining.
Biggest challenge will be getting boxes from the shed to the pods. Have to go through the garden. This is where a rental truck would have been better. I could have pulled it around to the back gate and had a much shorter distance to carry all those boxes. That is, IF the church did not lock their gate.
That's okay. Going to focus first on getting the rest of the furniture loaded. Hardest part will be the sofa.
Get up and get moving in a little bit.
Here is a good thing. My healing is largely back to normal for me. I wrote a couple days ago how my hand had a spot (actually more than one) where the lime had eaten down to the subcutaneous tissue. That was still true on Sun night. Then, as of yesterday, the tissue had healed enough to completely fill in to even out with the rest of my skin. Scabbed, of course but filled in. Speaking as a nurse, that is thoroughly abnormal. Tissue injured that deep does not fill in that quickly for most people.
That's an indication that my UC is in much better control. Now, if it will reach the point where I can maintain some real homeostasis with my gut itself I will be so much better off. Especially now that I know what foods to avoid to keep it from getting worse.
