Early rise

Woke up pretty early this morning. Little after 6.

It's a few minutes after 8. Going to get out and start getting stucco and paint done.

Odd thing holding me back this morning. Not for long. The outside temperature this morning is below 50 degrees. (Can't apply stucco or paint below 50, it won't adhere properly.) My outside thermometer said it was 35 degrees this morning! The online weather did not claim it dropped below 40. They say 46. I'm leaning toward their statement because I went out to feed the dog and it did not feel like it was below 40.

Any way, right now both sources claim it's about 46-48 degrees. The high today is only 71, so it's a really good day to get those tasks done without taking too many breaks.

Though applying stucco is pretty rough on the arms, so I apply one bag, take a little break and then go back to it. Hoping to get the stucco finished today. Maybe the paint also, if I can keep going that much.

I cut down the upright solarium supports after writing last night. Tossed the wood over the fence. Now I have splinters in my hands. Shoulda worn gloves. Dug the worst ones out. The rest will come out on their own. Makes it harder to remove them because my hands are so dry from the stucco.

Just whining.

No more back/kidney pain. Glad that's over with!

Things are looking a lot more hopeful. More organized. I can finally actually see the effects of all the work I've been doing. I mean over years, not just this month.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Doesn't mean very much. At this point I'm not even expecting a call from my daughter. Just tuck my head down and keep working. My birthdays have never been a big deal. One year even I forgot my birthday. Another day older and you're deeper in debt.
