The issue with daughter is making me nervous. Something is absolutely not right.
I texted her earlier. She answered a couple of times. Then just stopped. I tried calling her. It seems she shut her phone off.
At this point, I am questioning of she and her mother are safe. Or at least whether daughter is safe. I'm not sure they can even respond to me honestly. Is everything they're doing being monitored? Should I have listened more closely to her tone when I told her I am still moving there? She sounded rather cowed but was that relief, despair or anxiety?
If what she tells me is true, it seems more and more relevant that she and her mother are not going anywhere or doing anything but home schooling and grocery shopping. Not making any friends or socializing. They are completely socially isolated. That's not good.
I wrote an email to the ex and asked if there is something I should know. Of course, if they are not safe, they may have no way to answer me.
I told her months ago to download TOR. I sent her an email telling her to message me on MeWe using TOR. Private messaging and secure browser.
At this point I really hope this is just teenage angst and extended separation.
