Okay, accomplished my goal of getting the sunken living room ready to paint. Finished the last layer of plaster to the curved ceiling section. Whole room is packed up. Cleaned the outside of the fireplace and the baseboard along one wall. Caulked that baseboard.
I do have to go a section at a time right now because I still have lumber in the room, the sofa and coffee table. No place I can really move those things at the moment.
So, need to get out of bed in the morning and go buy the paint. I can clean and caulk the other baseboards after I finish one side of the room. Maybe two sides. Going to paint the fireplace black so it's less prone to staining from smoke. Can get first use of the tile saw when I finish the tile in front of the fireplace.
Have to make some phone calls tomorrow. I hate making phone calls. Mandatory though because it relates to my nursing license application for AL.
Right now going to watch some videos, eat dinner and get to bed.
