Okay, I went to Walmart and picked up some protein powder. Happily they had some with no Creatine. It tastes good and is thick. At least when mixed with almond milk. I got almond milk, nutritional shakes and potted meat. Spent about $50 on those things. Oh, well. Have to suck it up and admit this is part of my life now.
Right now my goal is to take in about 6000 calories today and again tomorrow.
I'm guessing my best bet is sticking with high calorie drinks and pureed foods, which absorb better than anything else. Made a whole pitcher of the protein shake. Tastes good, like a chocolate shake.
I'm still badly fatigued and have a headache. Have to keep my activity low today and hope to have recovered a bit by tomorrow morning.
When I look around, I don't really think packing the rest of the house will take more than 2-3 days. At this point, I mean. Since I've already packed and/or eliminated a lot of stuff.
My biggest challenge is going to be getting things done which require use of the ladder. Maybe I should check on whether it will result in a price change if I delay the pods for one more week, until 4/24/17. I could sell the ladders but don't want to. I need them to stucco the outside walls. In some cases, I need the A-frame ladder for inside work, also. I think I could do with only the stepladder once I'm done with the sunken living room. It's the extendable ladder I need outside. Then again, I just checked and prices on ladders have come down since I moved in here. (That's strange.) Especially on the multi-tasking ladders. So dispensing with the ladder isn't preferable but can be done.
Have to think about it and decide what course to take.
