Off to a slow start today. I was up late last night, woke up late this morning. That's okay.
I always get off to a slow physical start in the morning now. All related to my medical situation. It improves after an hour or two but feel very held back until then. Quite frustrating. I can function but get tired too easily until it releases that hold. Blech.
It was a good night for karaoke. Fairly short rotation. Got to sing 4 songs. People were leaving and rotation was getting shorter but I kept to my earlier statement. Glad I did. We did have scant snow last night. Just enough to make the roads slick.
Good thing about the weather. The dogs finally got it in their thick heads to use the solarium! It cannot be considered animal abuse if I have set up a warm place for the dogs and they still remain outside in the cold by choice. I have checked the dog door for proper function, never been a problem. They have as much space as the front living room which they can access in there, with freedom to enter and leave as they choose. Instead, they dug another big hole in the ground.
To illustrate how dim the younger one is, consider this. He continues to try and hog the food every time I feed the dogs. (Note: I've tried separate bowls for them, several feet apart. Nope, didn't work.) So, the older dog gives a short bark, growl and pins the younger dog to the ground. This happens twice a day, every single day. For months. You would think after 20, 30, 60 times the younger one would get the message. Nope. Too dumb. This is the same one who keeps trying to knock down the solarium door with the dog door 2-3" away. Also the same one who keeps invading the garden even though it causes him to get shocked when he tries. Over and over and over.. Also the same one who does not play with dog toys. He leaves them on the ground and poops on them. Unless he can obliterate them. Dumb as a rock.
