Something I realized cannabis could help me with besides gut issues. My shoulders. It's difficult to exercise my upper body much because it puts my shoulders in pain, which radiates down the arms. This pain lasts for days and can at times be quite severe.
Now, without question the shoulder problem has gotten better over the last few years as I brought other issues under greater control. That only came with awareness.
I'm also hoping it helps with my having to urinate so frequently, which has been a problem for decades. Large part of that is just because the inflammation of my intestines causes pressure on the bladder. However, probably a lot of toxins being flushed out, also. Drinking a lot of coffee doesn't help.
In the past, I've gone through different problems caused by inflammation which have cleared up over time with dietary changes. Now I'm hoping to relieve the core inflammatory problems.
Big surprise for me is that exercise helps ulcerative colitis and is documented in medical literature as doing so. That's a really good thing. May explain why my symptoms have worsened the last 2-3 years. Not complaining because I did not know what the problem actually was until that happened. Can't address a problem which is never found.
Daughter and I didn't do a whole lot this weekend. Too windy on Sat to do much outside. Nothing at the theaters we really wanted to see. So we rented a movie, had popcorn and root beer floats in some new large glass mugs which I froze in advance. She loved it. Rode our bikes and took a walk yesterday. Took down some of the decorations. I'll get the rest this week.
