Nothing done. Too worn out, too sore. Soaked in the tub for a while and thought that would help. It did but not enough.
Biggest issue is that I used up all my reserves going to the gym. Really sucks with my history of keeping going for days at a time. Just not normal. Trying to rebuild tolerance as well as strength.
Oh, well. I'll count tonight as my unofficial night off from house work and get things done tomorrow and Fri. Not going to karaoke this week.
It's definitely important to rebuild muscle mass for me. More muscle mass will mean more energy. More muscle mass requires more energy but my theory is that it will mean my body will produce more energy. It also means I will have more protein reserve. If I don't build up more mass, I have less major reserve if I lose weight.
However, been sitting way too much for way too many years. The last 8 years I have nobody to blame but myself. I've tried to stay somewhat active but not much aerobic activity. Haven't known about the most major stuff holding me back until a year ago.
More of an uphill climb but nothing I can't get past. Have to work harder and it may take longer but I intend to get in the best shape in decades. In some ways the best shape of my life. Not shooting for breaking a 6 minute mile like I used to.
