Calm day

Some children go wild as soon as they hit puberty. My daughter just got there but not going wild. Instead, she has just widened her existing views. Trying to understand her world both outside and in. Though I am happy to say she is becoming more social and making friends at school she gets along with. I don't want her to be quite as reclusive as myself.

I will say a large part of my personality has been formed by environment through the years, including currently.

We didn't do much today. Ate at her favorite restaurant and brought the rest home. She was writing and drawing until a minute ago. She watched an episode of Ancient Aliens with me and was very interested. I like it because it brings up discussion not only about aliens but about known history. Since I like history and she shows a lot of interest in it, it winds up being a good thing.

Started some more tomato seeds today. Had 4 pots started so far. New seeds are mostly Better Boy, rest are Beefsteak. Hoping the established plants in containers revive when temps get warmer. I don't think the roots ever got cold enough to freeze, so they may be just dormant.

Got a catalog from a seed company advertising a Beefsteak hybrid that grows up to 3 lb fruit. Definitely  ordering some of those seeds. It is a reputable and old seed company. If they do well, I'll take cuttings to try and propagate them and keep them going.
