Work is finally picking up again! I had 82 cases today. I was still limited only by the rate the calls came in. And how slow some callers were. However, I'm seeing some benefit to one of the special programs I'm trained for. More benefit than that from the standards required for cases that do not go to review.
Added benefit to that is there is less to be judged on audits, so my audit scores have a potential to improve.
Hoping today wasn't just a fluke and the pace continues. Though there were a lot of angry people on the phones today. That's normal after a holiday. People pissed off they have to put out an effort, rather than happy they have a job at all. Just love how happy they are to be doing something to help sick people. sic.
I ordered an Aussie type safari hat and was waiting for it to arrive. Got here today. I was wondering if I should order one for daughter and now I think I will. I'll get her to try this one on this weekend but it seems like it would probably fit her okay. It has a wide brim, shades the face and neck from the sun and has a neck strap. It's also light weight and water resistant. I used to have a different hat and every time I put that hat on, she new we were going on an adventure. I think if we both had matching hats it would be even better. Then again, maybe I'm just being cheesy and she would find it silly. I'll ask her for her opinion and see. They do come in different colors, if she doesn't like the black.
Not feeling so great today. Both my gut and allergies. I was going to go work out tonight but wound up not feeling quite up to it. I'm hoping the gym will be slow tomorrow, since there's snow in the forecast.
I'm anxious now, waiting and hoping for my cannabis card. Knew it wouldn't be here today. Probably not this week. I'm just hoping I applied at a slow time of year. If the day I went to the doctor is any indication, this is a slow period.
