Toad

Daughter and I caught a toad in the back yard today. We did release it this evening. But she had fun setting up a small environment for it and watching it. 

We also took our bows and arrows to the park to shoot. Not at anything but the ground. Mostly going for distance. There was no one else at the park, so no risk. Then we took a short walk to see wild flowers in the area. 

However, her favorite thing all day was playing in the rain. 

Made some gluten free cookies which did not come out well at all. 

Rented a movie. Now I'm writing and she's reading. 

Been a pretty good day!
