Something off

Something is off. Didn't get anything done last night because I just felt completely exhausted. Yet had a hard time sleeping and kept waking up.

Oh, well. My sedentary time wasn't completely wasted. Came up with solutions to design problems so I can avoid exposed screws which I would have to cover later. Keeps the design for stuff in daughter's room more what I originally intended.

Not a huge rush. She can't sleep in there until I fix the cooling issue, which won't happen until my next paycheck. So, I have this coming week to work on her room. Rather take more time and get it right. I can move the equipment out and let her start using the room this weekend. The large pieces I needed to cut are pretty much all done.

Meanwhile, I'm still losing the battle to gain weight. Even with the protein powder. The protein powder has 600 cals per serving and I have taken 2 servings for three days since Tue, a total of an additional 3600 cals. (Not to mention I also ate a whole jar of Nutella this week, so an extra 1000 cals there.) Result? I lost 2 lbs.

However, it is quite obvious my body is building new blood cells and muscle tissue. I have noticeably gained denser muscle tissue this week, without lifting a finger to do so. So, it's likely that this process will continue for a while before I start gaining in weight. I would expect that if I were lifting weights but I guess this is following the same process. Just sucks because I wanted to gain a few lbs before I start exercising. But if I'm gaining muscle without exercise, that's okay, too.

After reading information from multiple sources, seems whey protein offers a lot of benefits which are important to me. Not causing any problems with my gastric problems. Except that it can cause constipation but Epsom Salt helps with that in small doses. And it can do that to anyone. High protein diets are notorious for that issue.

Weather looks better than they made it sound yesterday. Checked the radar and no clouds coming this way from as far as CA, so a road trip would be safe today, weather-wise.
