So, tomorrow is Valentine's Day. Or as I like to call it, VD day.
This is definitely the holiday I despise the most. It is the most plastic, the most pretentious, the most appealing to people prone to brain washing, most attractive to liars and manipulators.
If it were not for my daughter, I would have absolutely nothing to do with this holiday. As it is, I went to get her something this evening and was taken aback by the insanity of the crowd. Guess you can't fight hormones.
Only picked up some candy. May try and get something more tomorrow night or Sat morning.
I wouldn't have any problem with the holiday if adults treated it the way children do. Just hand out cheap candy and small cards to everyone you like, work with, etc. Leave the jealousy and false expectations out of it.
My backward body chemistry. I did not take Chantix today. My anger has been in much better control and my nicotine cravings have reduced to a small level compared to just yesterday. Mind is more clear and did not have a nagging headache like I've been having. Still a slight urge to smoke but getting easier.
