Well, paycheck went in as it should. It did have some extra money, nothing extraordinary but enough to notice.
At this point, I am estimating I can get the Camaro fixed in about 4 weeks. That's when I project having the money all together. While still chipping away at the mortgage in sizable chunks.
Close enough now to request a new estimate and ask what the estimated time frame for the work will be. If there's any appreciable time frame for the work, I'll have the car towed a week out from the check when I'll have the final funds available. Then have to plan ahead to take the bus or a taxi when it's ready.
Now that winds have died back down, can start burning weeds again. Checked again on composted wood chip prices and I can afford to get 12 tons ordered and delivered next week. They only cost $5 a ton and that is approximately 3.5 square yards per ton, so it should cover a large area. One square yard is 27 square ft, so at 6" deep will cover over 1100 feet of ground. Take a lot of work but it will be worth it to get the yard in shape.
