New (to me) car

Bought a car this evening. Used, of course. Got it for $700. It's a '93 Mazda MX3. Yes, it needs some work. What do you want for that price? However, it runs and drives very nicely. Soon as the key was turned, it started instantly. Accelerates well. And burns a fraction of the gas that the truck does!

Plus, no car payment. And cost less than half the cost of the rebuilt engine for the Camaro.

Guy says it shakes at high speed but that is probably that it needs an alignment. From the acceleration, I'm doubting it's the transmission. However, he was referring to speeds over 70 mph and cars that old were not built much for those speeds. So it could be pushing the limit of the rated normal speed. Or could be the tires. I'll figure it out. Long as it actually goes a speed that I can actually take it on the highway without the radiator exploding or parts dropping off, I'm okay with it at that price. That and if it lasts for a year or two would be even better, of course. Needs a paint job but not as badly as the truck. It's small and easy to handle. Be easier to work on than the truck because I won't have to use a stepladder to reach the engine. Doesn't overheat.

Work is picking up again. Had 84 cases today and that was on my regular 8 hour shift. No complaints on that! The 90 cases in 8 hours still eludes me just slightly. Part of that is callers who have no clue why they're calling, placing me on hold, etc.

Got a message that my pathology report is completed. However, I can't access it online because of some tech issue. I have to make an appointment to discuss it with the doctor.

Okay, I need to take a bath and wash dishes.
