I am so happy it is Friday! Managed to get through the week without completely losing it on anyone. Though that wasn't easy.
NY and NJ must be digging out of the snow. Too many calls from people up there jacked up on testosterone, as they usually are. And that's referring to the women.
I think John Carpenter had the right idea about New York. Except the wall should be extended to include the entire city, all immediate suburbs and the whole northern half of New Jersey. Wall it off, turn off all the telephones, mine the periphery and walk away.
The oldest dog still will not remain in the yard. I would give her up to animal control but I just can't do it, knowing they will put her to sleep. I know even more that the neighbor is nothing but a lying piece of wetback shit. I saw the dog out in the street today with a tiny Chihuahua barking at her. She hung her head and ran away. The odds she killed another dog? Pretty damn low.
However, I can't let the dogs keep getting out. Especially her. So for now I had to get a tie-out line again. This time, it's attached to the fence. The zip line is no longer up. It is a 20 ft line but she'll probably tangle it around objects. This is temporary, until I build some dog crates to teach the dogs some discipline. And/or put up a more extensive electrical fence to keep them in their own area.
My last two paychecks were considerably lower than normal. Over the past month, my pay was down by at least $300. The check today is back to normal and a few dollars more. Going to shoot for much better over the next few weeks as things pick up again.
