Okay, I always have to look for the bright side of things. Even my recent diagnosis.
Now, no matter what, I can't find myself clear to knowing this means I don't have to battle losing weight.
However, this diagnosis does mean I have more than sufficient cause to get a prescription for medical marijuana. Not like I'm all that big on it. I still have a scant amount from what was originally a small amount given to me like 7 years ago. Very much a lightweight. However, it does relax smooth muscle and is proven effective for easing gastric pain and other related symptoms.
Of course, I would grow my own. May make liquid for the e-cigarette from it. May take some experimenting but that method would let me control the strength better and keep it down. Modern strains are much stronger than they used to be.
I ordered more tobacco seed, also. Did some research and smoking really is a treatment for ulcerative colitis, known for decades. The e-cigarette does not seem to help as much as regular cigarettes do and research is highly questionable whether other forms of nicotine delivery are as effective for the purpose.
No point in lying, even to myself any more. I have been in frequent and intense pain for a long time. Often afraid to eat because of the side effects. Steps I've taken have improved my overall health and reduced the symptoms somewhat. But any real improvement has been more hope and imagination than reality, I fear.
This seriously sucks. Not one but two forms of autoimmune disorder. My body is destroying itself from the inside out.
Still waiting for pathology report from the biopsies. Not even asking the doctor for anything to reduce the pain until that comes back. Rather hoping my present doc has no problem issuing a prescription for the marijuana without having to go to someone else. Hoping it helps with anxiety.
