Did not sleep well last night. Did not sleep long enough but could not get back to sleep.
That's okay. Should be up and functioning shortly. Have to finish the tile today. Just going to keep going on tile until the kitchen and fireplace are done.
Need to step things up. Got a call from the ex yesterday that there are some issues going on with daughter. Not going to write what the issues are, just say it makes me very anxious. So I want to get all this finished and get to AL soon.
Got nearly all the remaining supplies at Home Depot as planned yesterday. Spent a bit more than planned. Little over $200. I may have gotten slightly more supplies than I need but those were things not sold in smaller quantities. At this point, rather have too much than run short when nearly done.
Also got four new door thresholds, all matching for various doors. Since they match, it gives additional continuity through the house. I already have decent continuity by the repeated use of colors, slate and wood through the house.
I'll still have to spend about another $100 on a floor polisher and sealant.
Realized my time frame is off on one issue. I cannot refinish the last counter yet. Have to do the tile behind that counter first. So that has to dry until tomorrow. Then grout, which will have to dry another day. So, that counter will have to wait until Sat. That's okay. Means it will be dry on Mon. I'll just do that counter, sink and tub all the same day.
In any case, the house will be going on the market next week. Hopefully Tue. Wed at latest.
