Pretty congested this morning. Probably from the fumes from the sealant. I did wear a mask while spraying and for a while afterward. Maybe not long enough.
I need to do better about ventilation and breathing protection before I wind up with something like silicosis or some crap.
Now that I'm close to having the floors done, need to make a new to-do list. Just to get organized. So, with no drama and no particular order-
Take down picnic table
Bonfire
Till garden
Chop weeds
Trellis for grape vine
Caulk tub and sink
Fix hall light wiring
Clean baseboards (buffer mess)
Clean tiles
Seal grout
Paint hearth base front
Replace window glass
Polish floors
Replace drawer and cabinet handles
Touch up paint
Disperse dirt pile
Do something with broken cinder blocks
Arrange concrete into fire pit
Install thresholds
Paint thresholds
Outlet covers
Clean fridge and cabinets
Paper cabinets and drawers
Organize house
Okay, that's a short list. Gives me a place to start. I know those are the major things and I will run into a lot of smaller things as I go.
I was wrong. Still can't use the bathtub. There's a gap where I removed old caulking which would let water into the walls if I did use the tub. Just have to take a spit bath and get the caulking done today so it will be dry tomorrow. Then I can use the tub. Oh, well. Some reviews said if you can allow this paint to cure longer than 72 hours, it winds up with better results.
Right now I need to go to the store and get floor polish.
I left the coffee and filters where I cannot reach without walking on part of the sealed floor. I'm going to risk it for a few seconds in sock feet. The surface feels dry and solid. I didn't lay the sealant on too thick, so I don't see it being a problem.
