I may not get started on the floors today. The tub is taking too long.
I did the sink and it looks great!
Problem with the tub is that I am also doing the tile around the tub. That means I had to stand on the edge of the tub to get to the top of the tile. Then, I have to wait an hour between coats. I got the second coat on the sink and the walls. Just did the first coat on the tub. Now I have to wait for the first coat to dry a bit before doing the second coat. It's almost 2 PM now.
I have to say this is the most reflective paint I have ever seen! Aside from metallic finishes, of course. The sink looks brand new! I'll be posting pictures of these along with the rest of the house once it's all done.
I wonder if this paint could also be used on counters and other surfaces? It's expensive but would be worth it for some projects. Too bad it only comes in white. Actually I just checked. It comes in almond and biscuit. Still very light colors.
Feeling a little light headed from breathing the fumes. Though I do have the windows open and the swamp cooler on. This paint does not smell as strongly as the countertop paint did. I'm just working in a smaller area.
Right now I'm just writing to kill time. Still another 30 minutes before I can apply the next coat.
If this takes too long I'll just wait until tomorrow to get the floor polisher. Move everything tonight and be ready in the morning to get that done. Guess I could grout the fireplace today, too. I'll wait and see.
