Wound up having to burn just a few more small items.
Got the new knobs and handles installed. Ran short and had to run to the store. Now all the cabinets and drawers through the whole house match and many have handles which never did before. Including the bathroom, linen closet and the closet in the entryway.
Some of the drawers were so thick in the front that the screws were too short. So I had to drill partway through the inside with a 1/2" bit where the screw holes were. That worked and the handles not fit.
No, never did take a nap.
So tomorrow I am setting my priorities to cleaning, organizing and getting things in order specifically for taking pictures. Some things don't matter for that and I can keep working on those things after taking pictures. Even the thresholds don't matter much for that. For the outside of the house, I'll take pictures in the morning and see how they come out. No pictures of the back yet. Can add those later.
I let the hose run to water the apple trees and the Wisteria for a long time this afternoon. I can tell the lack of water and hence concentrated salt is having an effect on a lot of things. The (wild) cannabis has yellow leaves at the bottom but green at the top. Which is a sign of not enough nitrogen. Because salt blocks nitrogen uptake. One grape vine also has yellow leaves which are dropping off. I watered that fairly well today also.
I hope to get a lot done tomorrow. It's supposed to be several degrees cooler. At the very least I can trim remaining weeds and rake up trash blown in by wind and dragged in by the dog. Tilling can wait until another day. But not until next week. Next week temps hit triple digits. Try to do all outside work in early morning and late evening. It will be easier to get things done when I have so much less to do. Which will be very soon. Like after tomorrow.
