Slow day again

Today was another slow day for work. Didn't make my 70 cases. Got to 65 and then there were no more calls, no web cases and no fax cases remaining. Notified my supervisor, so maybe I'll be paid hourly for the last hour today.

The company did agree to pay everyone hourly rate for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, so don't have to worry about case count those days. That was really good of them.

I admit this job can be stressful in some ways at times. However, some people complain about the company and I don't see it. The company seems reasonable to me. Not fond of the iterator tests. I'll be a lot more cautious next time those come around. They seem like tests that were mostly written by people with RN-itis. More focused on proving themselves superior than accomplishing and educational goals. Therefore, too many questions which are intentionally deceptive. Otherwise, the company seems fair and professionally run.

Going to start taking down Christmas decorations tonight. May not finish until tomorrow because I also need to wash dishes.

Still haven't driven the truck. That's normal. I usually only drive it on weekends, when daughter is with me. Otherwise I use the bike. Tomorrow is the big test to see how the chemicals worked.

Still haven't heard from the bank about a payment plan to catch up. Even if they say no, I should be able to catch up in a few months. It will mean setting back fixing the car further. I dread that thought.

Now that the holidays are over, I'm hoping work picks up drastically. Then I can pick up extra hours and run cases faster. In that case, I may be able to accomplish both goals quickly.

Not sure what to expect on taxes this year. Pretty much expecting to have to pay in on state. Federal I have no clue as yet. If I manage any kind of refund it would help.

Days should be getting longer soon. I watch the solar cycle and the sun is moving northward again. I need to get the last extension on the solarium finished soon, so I can start tomato and pepper seeds for the summer.
