Of course, I looked out the window this morning and the dogs had torn down the Mylar as far as they could. Not sure what condition it's in. Guess I'll finish taking it down and leave that part out until I can attach it with contact cement. Other than tearing down the Mylar, I don't see any sign they stayed in the solarium. If they aren't going to benefit from the heat, I'm not going to keep the heater running. Waste of money.
I'm still waking up on non-daylight savings schedule. But I need to reset the clock on the thermostat. It doesn't change automatically. But waking up early is also a sign my energy is returning. I don;t feel like going back to bed once I get up. That's a good thing.
Have to go vote after work today. I haven't heard anything about the company having a schedule for voting rights.
I checked the fee schedule for the dentures because the dentist said the prices would go up in Nov. Until today, I hadn't noticed a notice in small print. Prices valid through 11-21-14. Yay! A week after my appointment! Long as I keep to a budget, I currently have about $750 of the $1205 estimate! (Maybe over $850, if I get the refund from the mortgage escrow. No sign of it in the mail yet. But who knows what games Wells Fargo will play? Better not to count on it much.)
Not going to have extra time during the holidays with daughter this year. I'm working all the way through, except the actual holidays and Christmas Eve. Sucks but at times she seems bored with me. Hitting puberty. Maybe it's good because it gives her more time with other step-family members. I do want her to have a more extended family to have bonds with than I had growing up. Never want her to feel as alone as I did. I want her to be self-reliant, not isolated.
Guess I better go feed the furry monsters.
