I got a call this afternoon from my daughter's phone. I was working and the phone was in the other room, so I couldn't pick up. When I listened to the voice mail, I heard my daughter's voice saying, "No, no!" The things which made it somewhat less frightening were her tone of voice, like she was being teased. Plus the fact that I heard a lot of children in the background and it did not sound like a threatening situation. However, these days you never know and my daughter calling when she did was very out of place.
I called back and eventually got her on the phone. Turned out she had accidentally butt-dialed me and everything was okay.
Spent a couple of hours pulling weeds this evening. Found out there were like ten cantaloupe fruit growing which I did not even know about! Still lots of weeds to pull but getting some things cleared out around the watermelon, pumpkin, cantaloupe and green beans for now. It's still looking like the fall garden is going to do much better than the summer garden this year.
Received the battery operated dog whistle today. Little problem is the range. It may not extend far enough to quiet the neighbor's Chihuahuas. However, I do have a bullhorn which I may try combining with the dog whistle. I ordered a battery operated one so I can use it while on the phone for work. That's the problem, they're so loud they interfere with phone calls. Already tried using it on my dogs to get them to quiet down and it definitely worked!
Getting to bed soon. Did not sleep well last night at all. However, I did have lots of energy today, so looks like I'm getting back to normal. At last!
