Change of plans

Since I can't pick up the truck as early as I need it on Labor Day, I'm changing priorities. Ordered the film for the solarium. At 13 cents a square foot, the price isn't bad per foot. However, not exactly cheap  for the entire square footage needed. On the other hand, it's a much better grade than what I've been using, which doesn't last. 

There is an irony that I can't install the film until after I rent the truck. Still need 1x2's which are too long for the car. May still need more 2x4's, also. Or lower sections, need some particle board or plywood. I can use particle board and attach the sheathing the dogs knocked down. Still, I can put up the last extension posts for the solarium. I have the lumber and concrete on hand for that. Then the sheeting will already be here when I get the rest of the supplies. 

Then I may use a lot of the cinder blocks to build a fire pit and/or a jet heater which I was thinking of last year. If weather is too cold, I could build a fire which would be safe enough with the right design. The heat would help warm the back wall of the house, also.
