I had to ramp up the weed killer seriously and insect killer somewhat. Too many weeds covering large areas. Too much grass where there shouldn't be. Grass growing through weed fabric and 2" of mulch.
So, I went and got some weed and grass killer which is a lot more powerful than what I was using. The old weed killer was more biodegradeable and could take 2-3 weeks to kill to the root. The new one shows results in as little as 3 hours.
Lots of ants, couple of huge ant piles. That indicates lots of aphids. Squash bugs have killed one pumpkin vine and damaged another one. So, I got some poison granules and spread them mostly around pumpkin plants and directly on ant piles.
Got some temporary dental material to fill a cavity until my dental appointment.
I also put in for two days off. If both days are approved, going to try installing some insulation the day before the dental appointment.
Got dishes done but leaving other stuff to morning.
